Assistive Listening Devices

Assistive listening devices (ALD) help individuals with hearing loss communicate by enhancing sound so you can understand speech more easily, especially in places with background noise.

Examples of ALDs include remote microphones, captioned telephones, amplified stethescopes and alerting devices.
